It’s incredibly complicated—especially for social media—to hunt down all the individual songs for even the smallest video and create a separate license for each one. Compared to other platforms like Epidemic Sound or Artlist, where you simply register your social media channels and can automatically use any track as long as you have the right coverage, it’s a huge hassle. It’s obviously technically feasible, otherwise all those platforms wouldn’t be able to do it either. It takes way too much time and is, above all, extremely tedious work.
